Cancelled classes are a pain in the butt,
So here's a lesson on a retarded dj trick that all of you should know, even though it will only work once. Or never!
You need a Pioneer CDJ 800 or CDJ1000 (MK2's on both work better)
While one track is banging on the speakers, cue the next track and beatmatch.
Synch both tracks and transition one while the other breakdowns and the second track is now, completely in. Leave the track you had, up, loop (8), push sync out and turn the jog wheel anti-clockwise until you hear a buzz, then select the "vinyl" on the cdj and then turn the knob from the "Touch/Release" and push "play/pause".
It should sound like a rocket's buzz coming to a complete end, like a whooooooooossshhhhh.
It's actually pretty cool when used correctly, use it as a dj tool if you may it'll work the same.

"I think the scientific and the artistic spirit have something in common. The scientist wants not only to learn the facts, but to understand how they cohere, fit together and make a whole. He even uses criteria such as beauty and symmetry to help decide which theory he wants.
The scientist cannot capture the whole cosmos in thought. In his mind he makes a kind of microcosm, which we see as an analogue of the cosmos. In this way we try to get a feeling for the whole. The artist, I suppose, gets a feeling for the whole some other way.”
