Quick Reason Question

I'm just getting the hang of getting into Reason (moving from FL Studio), learning what does what and all that. I'm aware we can't use VST's in Reason, does that mean its not possible to hook up your external synth's (I have recentely aquired the great virus A) ?

Is the only option I have to use an external sequencer such as FL or Cubase and rewire with reason that way ?

yes, your only option is rewire, Reason doesn't support working with VST's, neither has it an audio in...

i really dont get why u chose reason as sequencer if u got a virus hardware. simply imposible to hook them. obviously u have to rewire in order to get bot the reason and virus working properly,as slaves to a real sequencer. once again my advice is go for cubase sx. it has the best rewire support and the midi sync is way better than fruity.
