Ready Mix Records proudly presents David Kassi. At only 19 years old, David’s tracks have been released on great labels such as Pangea, Helvetica Records (Swiss), Xquisy Tech Records, Lifetime Records (Germany), Acute Records (USA), Fiberline Audio (USA), NRG Records (Greece).

David was born in the city of Lamia, Central Greece in 1987. He began experimenting with synthesizers at a very young age and at 16, started writing and producing his own original music while DJing at many local clubs and cafes. In 2005, and only 18 years old he signed his first deal with the critically acclaimed Pangea Recordings and soon after with Behold Records. His remixes includes tracks for Jesse Perez (Behold Records), BiG AL (Ready Mix Records) and GPAL (Swift Records). His latest release on Behold Records "When the smoke is going up" has reached the #1 spot on Beatport for the past 3 consecutive weeks.

This EP reminds us of something that we know, a feeling, a memory, a wish. A mood that takes you somewhere and carries a timeless message. Appropriately so, the track showers and pours down on your senses like heavy rainfall encompassing all that is seen, heard, and felt. Synths that have a dramatic nostalgia are carried into the present tense with bold electronic sounds, a clean production and an organically strong rhythm.

Synthy Rain is crisp, punchy and tight. It will get the crowd mesmerized in a powerful sync, uplifting a dance floor and connecting them together for the rest of the DJ’s journey.

Rainy Spot is laced with spirit vocals and a tribal beat that gallops into the future. Some harmonies carry the listener and dancer through time, with a grounded earthy thump which compels to keep moving forward, onward and upward.
