Tiesto @ Rain review (coming)

I'm too tired to write it right now, but I'll give you the scope of it tomorrow....any others?, feel free to voice yourself.

ok here it is:

Got there 10 to 10, big line, but after 20 or 30 minutes
it started going pretty quick with no hicckups for the presales
(take note Empire!!)

The place took a while to fill up. And becaus of the odd raised
circle dancefloor, everyone seems kinda self-segregated, which sucks. Mix people mix! So we took a stroll around, up, down, etc just to fint the best view of tiesio.

tiesto played ok...I mean he had to belt out classics 'Traffic" and "Subruban Train" if. There were soom tracks that I recognize from ASOT, but I cant recognixethe names right now. Tiesto came on at around 1:05am, prior to that the opening DJ wsa really boring the hell out of everyone, and I htought did a pretty bad job building up for Tiesto. I don't even know who this guy was, maybe one of Rain's resident DJs? At about 3:30 I felt the vibe, and Tiesto's set was petering out, and Boomer texted me that Eddi was on fire and I should "get over there". Showed hte text to my friend, and we bounced.

Drove over to Ice, no line at all, free cover (tiped the doorman a few bucks though cause obviously he wasn't making jack tonight)...we could hear Eddie tering it up from outside...for the rest see my the Eddie post.

what made you pick tiest0r over halliwell @ ice to begin with

I'll post some videos and pics when I get back home. Overall a great night. Tiesto was actually dancing more than usual. And whats up with people claiming their spot like they own that piece of real estate @ Rain and its like their seat in the house? Thank god for our table.

well...I didn't want to see BBB wh opned for Eddie, so our idea was to go to Tiesto, then catch Eddie. we missed an hour, but hehe it's ok.

I love the song that Tiesto opened with. I actually heard Armin Van Buuren open with it in last weeks State of Trance set...I id'd it as Cassandra Fox - Touch Me (Mike Koglin remix) but havn't been able to download it yet..anyone have it?

Does any one know what time it ended and how it went from after 3am??


Left ICE @ 1am cause I wanted to go to Tiesto, walked up to security, asked them how I could get in, they said tickets are $100 and let me in, Left a little after 3 to go back to ICE and watch Eddie KILL IT!

Ice: just wish there was a bigger crowd when we arrived after 3:30 and they stayed open a little later...but oh well! guess there were too many events going on that night.

He went til about 5/ 5:15...ended nice! His set got a little harder with more of a bassline. He stopped aroung 4:50 for a minute came back took off his headphones and finished off without em...dunno how he does it but he does it!
