Infected Mushrooms Remix My Song Without Consent @ Nocturnal Wonderland 06

Some of you guys sound like you had fun and some of you sound like you didn't.

What Happen to me the night of nocturnal wonderland 2006.

Infected mushrooms jacked my song off of my myspace and played it for the last 30 minuted of there set. He even said the name of my song "Energy Revolution" also in the middle of the song he said " I take whats yours and make it mine." Some of you might of seen me cause I jumped on there stage right when they ended. I almost kicked there ass for it.

and guess what they deleted there myspace account after i did that. www.myspace.com/infectedxxmushrooms

and they say they write all there music. That's crap

check out my blog on my page www.myspace.com/darksynergy

Tell me what u guys think about that.....

So they made a bootleg remix of your song?

Tons and tons and tons of producers out there do that, you know.

It's nothing new in this world.

If they jacked your song and played it straight (with no remix) that's kinda one thing, but if they did remix it yeah it may suck for you in a way but at the same time it's nothing new.

Although I guess them playing it live is a bit different than simply playing a bootleg remix they did.

When these bootlegs are made they just don't ever share it with anyone else. They just keep it to themselves. If they make a version and pass it around or try to release it, it's a whole different ballgame.

I can see your anger. But bootlegging happens all the time. Did they know you were there; you 100% sure those words were intentionally directed at you? Maybe it just came off that way. Ya never know.

Most people who would be so exicted for them to bootleg their material. But I do guess they could have simply asked you about it via MySpace. Wouldn't have been too hard.

Maybe try to contact them in a professional manner. Maybe they'll respond.

Yeah, like Dave said, it's something you have to live with.

Did Hybrid get permission from Radiohead, REM, The Doves or Soulwax? Nope...but that didn't stop them from remixing thier tracks.

As long as Infected Mushroom aren't using it for profit, there is nothing you can do.

BTW, I'm not trying to defend IM. Just saying it's nothing new.

Some of the best bootlegs out there never get released. A good example is Ferry Corsten's bootleg of BT's The Force of Gravity.

So good. Should get released. Never did. BOOOOO.

G&D did a bootleg of Depeche Mode - Here is the House. Great bootleg. But because they couldn't get the rights to Depeche Mode's vocals in the end, they redid the vocals with Mavie Marcos to put it on their Bloom mix CD and named it Andain - Here is the House. Same remixed music, same words, but different voice to be able to release it in some way to the public.

There are tons of amazing bootlegs out there.

Dude they played nothing like your track. Not to make you seem like an idiot, but after producing a track, and hearing one similiar to it, you think its yours. I swear i hear my tracks all the time... but they arnt. I didn't attend the show, but the set is the same as it was 2 months ago. It might be by the lyrics you said,"Now is the time," by Duvdev, in which it goes now is the time to take whats mine. Sounds the same to what you typed. Could be the mind messing with you if you coudnt hear it so well. Like i said, i dont know, wasnt there. But they sure as hell didnt play anything close to your song 2 weeks ago when i saw them

well it's a sticky situation... if it's credited to you and they acknowledge that they remixed it off of you... then it's a good thing.

if they just wanted to silently get credit... then you should crucify them

This is a lie, they don't even sound like the same track. I think he might be looking for attention or maybe it was drugz playing tricks on him. Either way, it isn't the same track and he also claims that another group stole this track.

Honestly they did have an account. I had them on my favorites. I would contact them but have no way of doing that or where to begin. In a way I am Excited for them making a song originally from me and also I'm kind of sad with no credit. Music is very difficult to write and as easy for someone to take it and to make it theres is just not right. If they told me I would appreciate it more than to just be upset. I guess things happen in life for a reason. Thanks for the suggestion.

Trust me They even said the same name of my song Energy Revolution also they played the beginning of my song and the guy on the keys is playing my riffs. I don't even need to lie.

That's true. but the way they played my song freakin incredible. I can't lie about that one. In a way they are makin profit because there playing for the crowd and playing other peoples stuff.

They even say they write there own music. Which is not true. NOW

Well thanks for your replys and suggestions
