Nine inch nails - Only (S-cube rmx)

Hey guys,

I finally decided to join this forum, been browsing it for a while now..

I'd like to know what you think of this track its a remix of the NIN song 'only'..Still working on it..

Its 145 bpm so don't know if it might be a little too agressive for you guys..

I'd love to hear your comments & suggestions on the production..

Commenting as I listen

I like the bass, very fullon. The kick could be more agressive, but its still good. Up to now i can say you have good production and sound. Synths at 2 minute sound kinda softwarish i think. I think you should try adding some effects, you know, psy effects to make it more trippy.Im linking the buildup at 3min30, i can feel something's coming. VEry original twist there, i think the breakdown lacks a little of something, i would add some delay somewhere on one of the synths to make it sound "all over the place" fullon thing.
How did you get that bass, what synth is it? I think its great
THe effect at 6min 30 is great, and the synth after too.

Very nice stuff, maybe you could try making the kick-bass more pumpy with come compression, adding some ping pong delay on some of the synths, but thats about it I think.

I make psy too, id appreciate your comments on my song since you make this kind of music too

Hey thanks for the review man!

Actually i have a better produced & more finished version of this song since i got new monitors (Dynaudio BM5A's) & they helped me find out the flaws that you mentioned right away..

As for the bass i'm using Spectrasonics Trilogy for it..

I'm in university right now i'll give your track a listen when i get back..
