I heard this advice from someone and I’ve asked a few people about it … and they said it’s not true.
Here’s the advice I got.
AMD Althon 64 Socket 939 has a bug; it can’t handle a setup of 4 sticks of RAM . Once 4 sticks of ram is placed, it kills your computer’s bandwidth by 50%.
Is this true?

Thanks to Cale, found out this problem only applies to the older models of the AMD 64s.
It has been fixed with the new ones.
Thanks for the program Cale

Ya dunno shit ... last 2 yrs AMD has crushed Intel in everyway. SPEED, preformance , value of your dollar and everything of everything. Everytime Intel has come out with something, it';s been scam or a flopp. Remember Intel's first Dual Core?
Only this yr, their new Core 2 Duo is better and faster then AMD. YOu still gotta realize Intel lost shamefully for the last 2 yrs, and those AMD chips are 2 yrs old. Really stupid to compaire something new to old, only proper way is to compaire both if they are both new.
But rest asure ... AMD's will crush Intel again, in the next generation of chips is due in 2007 and I'm sure their Quad Cores are gonna out everyone to shame.
