He along with Tim Chapman (who he calls his brother although they are unrelated) and son Leland were arrested at their homes today.
They were arrested on a warrant from Mexico because of how he entered the country in 2003 as a private citizen and captured Andrew Luster (famous rape case) who had fled there. Mexico says they were in the process of arresting Andrew to give him to US authorities but there is no evidence they actually were.
Anyhow, because they took Andrew Luster and didn't turn him into the authorities in Mexico first, they were charged with breaking extradition law and were declared fugitives since they left Mexico without permission from a judge.
Continuing, Mexico law gives three years for an arrest to be made or charges have to be dropped. And the deadline is like in the next week. Because of the warrant and how the relationship with the US is setup, our government is kinda obligated to make the arrest.
Dog can fight extradition but it's unknown if he has a chance of winning. He is being arrested for doing justice. Yes, he broke the law in Mexico but he thought it was in the best interest of people to go in and make the arrest like he did because there was no evidence that the authorities in Mexico were doing shit to hand Andrew Luster back over to US authorities.

That's probably why I like him so much. I have "redneck" roots, lol.
Anyhow, yeah there's a system and he needs to face what he's done.
But someone needs to hold the Mexican authority responsible for not doing shit when they knew where this rapist was. They were sitting on theirs hands with no evidence they were doing anything. Of course, after Dog goes in and does their job for them, they suddenly come up with "we were in the process of..." but it's easy to say that after the fact.
What Dog did was a good thing. Should he be taken to court for it? I will actually say, yes he should. Just hope there is leniency.
He will probably fight extradition and some think he can win because his team can argue that the only reason Mexico wants him is more out of anger than anything. Him going in and doing a job they couldn't do.
