I just want opinions on what you believe this music is coming too.
Do you feel it should more available to people who are unaware?
( such as 24 radio station )
I think there should be.....it would probably become ' the most listened to radio station in the world ' in no time....
Do you get pist off when some DJ's hook it up with mainstream artists like: Britney Spears or N-SYNC not saying it has been done but how would feel if that happened?
That would piss me off, I feel the music has a major irony that doesn't involve such cheese and that this music is not made to catch the easily distracted 8 year old
What does this music mean to you?
I think that this music has the most positive outlook than any other music out there

Therein lies the dilemma
I love Trance music, and most forms of electronic music, and have been listening to it for almost 12 years now. I would love to see it get really big, because I think a lot of people would benefit from the positive vibe that electronic music usualy brings.
However, there is a part of me that would rather not see it go mainstream. I love the underground aspect of the genre. I love feeling that I have something that others dont (as selfish as that is). Just the fact that my kid sister, who is 6 years my junior, is starting to listen to trance makes me cring some time. I would be freaky if I was at a rave, and walked into her.
Either way, as long as Trance lives long and prospers, Im happy.

trance, i believe, is part of each of our individuality. its good to not be like everyone else, and if it gets big.. we can say I was there first, but then there are those assholes who make it a big deal... haha ******s.. anyways, i like it underground, id like it "above-ground."

i'd LOVE for trance to get REAL big, which i know a LOT of people are sooooo against... i wanna go out to clubs and hear good music every week. instead of having to wait for ferry corsten or avb to show up at guvernment ever few months... i can't WAIT that long! =P
if something is good, then spread it around....
i mean, after you see a good movie, do you think to yourself:
"man, it was such a good movie... i'm not tellin anyone about this flick... imma keep this one UNDERGROUND... i was the FIRST one here... it's more SPECIAL a movie if no one sees it.... if EVERYONE sees it, it won't be a good movie anymore.... "
nope... =P

Re: THIS MUSIC AND IT's PROPERTIES

Sure i guess. If people have an open mind, some patience, Im willing to provide them with some music by lending them CDs etc. I think a mainstream radio station would wreak the scene though.
Do you get pist off when some DJ's hook it up with mainstream artists like: Britney Spears or N-SYNC not saying it has been done but how would feel if that happened?
Not really, however not Britney spears or n-sync type groups. Thats just a little messed. I though ice cube vs paul oakenfold was an innovative idea. Youve gotta try something different once in a while to keep people interested and on their seat. However i personally think that mixing outside electronic genre is a little risky for producers and djs because the audience might not like it.
What does this music mean to you?
This music is like inner peace for me, and the music i choose will reflect my mood. Progressive for subtle days when im doing work etc. Hard trance/house & jungle when im really really excited. Progressive trance for the usual days.

i wanna disagree with you on the fact that trance is unavailable to people who are unaware. it's as open to them as it is to us, they just have to find it for themselves.
i remember 10 months ago i was downloading these "new" for me songs from napster. they were 7-9 minutes long and very good (matt darey - beautiful, delerium - silence (airscape) and i felt really special caz i never heard such stuff before, only dream dance cd's and techno.
i wanted more and i found more. i found this site and got into progressive. so it's all up to the person.

it is widely available just that people choose not to listen to trance because to each their own music. waht can we do about that

as long as it sounds decent some of the pop groups actually have funky beats..i used to HATE all that but now im pretty much indifferent

As technology evoles into this day in age , music will always exist.
Man created Machine > Machine created music > music creates Peace.
I think Digital Radio will be the next big thing, people who have an I.P can have there own radio show :] o yes . everything will be connected into every devices, Communication is getting better and better.
For Licensing Laws , fuck it , laws aint gonna exist as its gonna crumble , if downloading MP3's is ilegal i think the whole country would be in Jail. Making music for money is not the answer , id rather be popular than rich ....
