Not that it really matters. If he was captured that would have been one thing. Not that they would ever really capture him, it'd cause too many problems, they'd kill him if anything. But now that hes dead (maybe?) its not like its going to impact al Qaeda's operations thats been said to be more of an idealogy than a structured organization. Killing Zarqawi didn't do anything, nothing. They had a new guy appointed in like what, a day.
