Arrow Cracking the "Muhanjala" code

So far i haven't seen any explanation or understanding of the name "Muhanjala" in the track Duderstadt - Muhanjala.

So i decided to put some effort of my own and see if we can crack the code.

Given the Duderstadt penchant for Sanskrit names (names like Mahananda and all), i am tempted to look in the same direction. The problem is, there is no word like Muhanjala in Sanskrit. Atleast not in its exact incarnation. So i can only assume that if it is a Sanskrit name (and somehow i feel it is, for reasons expalined below), it must have some corruption, either out of pronunciation or deliberate (Reminds me of UK group "Kula Shaker" whose name derived from Sanskrit name KulaShekhar but the sound of "Kh" in Shekhar (With sound like "Kh" as in Khartoum) got corrupted to "K" as in Kenya).

I'll start with Mahananda.

The name MahaNanda has two parts - Maha and Nanda where Maha means "The greatest" and Nanda is a name. To give a simple example, "Maha" can be prepended to almost anything to give it a tinge of greatness.

So MahaYoga = Maha + Yoga = The greatest Yoga and MahaRishi = Maha + Rishi = The Greatest Saint (Rishi) and Mahatma = Maha + Atma = The greatest soul.

Coming back to Muhanjala, i somehow feel that Muha in Muhanjala should've actually been Maha (the Maha of Mahananda) and Anjala should've been Anjali.

Anjali, in Sanskrit means "tribute". So, Mahanjali would've meant "The greatest tribute", which atleast makes some sense.

The other variation i can think of is of Muha actually being "Moha". Moha, in Sanskrit means "desires" or "cravings" as in desire for wealth, lust etc. In that way. Mohanjali would actually mean "A tribute to the desires".

Muha sounds very close to either of "Maha" and "Moha" and i assume it is one of them. As for Anjala, i can only think of it as some corruption of Anjali.

I really cannot think of any other variation.

It is entirely possibly that the name has got nothing to do with any of the above.

If someone has any other clues or ideas, please let us know.
