I have just read the thread on your favorite way to smoke.. and everyone is talkign about lungs and buckets.
What the hell are they? I heard about shotgun when you blow the smoke back into someone, either by puting your mouth around the J or just the smoke.
DO you do that stuff with hash or what? is it when you fill the bottle?

yeah i was sorta wondering too - i think its just a canadian thing or some shit. i say smoke however it works. a gravity bong is similar to a lung, if im guessing correctly - maybe not. basically all the methods where something smokes for you are a waste of bud. you may get knocked on your ass, but most likely youll just blaze a bowl and hurt your lungs. keep to the bongs(i mean water pipes), pipes and js and i think everything will be ok! late/

lung= 2 litre bottle chopped un half with a bag taped around the bottom... gauze on the bottle neck... burn and pull bag.. smoke gowes into the bag.. then take the gauze off and suck it...

bucket = gravity bong... take the bottom off a 2 litre bottle, then fill a bucket with water.. place the bottomless bottle in the water up to th3e top... put gauze on bottle neck burn and pull up.. the smoke is pulled into the bottle... stop pulling before the bottle comes out the water... then suck pushin the bottle down at the same time... <<<<<<< these totally kick your ass

waterfall... 2 litre bottle with 1 or 2 holes in the bottom... place ur fingers over the holes and fill the bottle with water.. put gauze on top and burn... remove hands from holes and viola it pulls itself.. all u have to do is stand there and burn.... then take the gauze off when burnt and suck...

it helps a lot, i think i'll try a few.. like the waterfall sounds easy.

Now what is the gauze your talking about? is it a screen or like a bowl..? i mean i've never really done anything with a 2 litre bottle before

Best way is to get some tin foil and put it over the top of the bottle, squeezing it round the edges so it's tight. Then carefully puncture lots of holes in it with a pin or something (careful as it rips easy. You're looking for lots of small holes, not a few big ones). If you're careful you can use your thumb to make a little depression in the foil so it holds your solid better.

wouldnt that melt the plastic? also couldnt i use a bowl head? i got those unscrewable one so i think it woould work

the BEst way would be to get a slide (glass or someshit), drill a hole in the plastic lid, and get a washer to seal the deal. basically this ISNT science so just use trial and error - whatever works/

I wasn't sure what these things were either so I searched around and found a site that descibes many different smoking styles and gives instructions on how to make em:

I am in the process of building by own bong from scratch...pretty much all the peices you want are at the local hardware store.. Except the the bowl. That I have to buy @ the local 'bud' shop

WOAH, hey...dont tell me about adventures in pot smoking! heh, no i know what you mean. but your site comes from the netherlands, so it could just be different jargon. plus my boys back in CO have been making their own shit for a long time, and say these things arent necessary - and i believe them. my macgyver friend who works in a local machine shop back home made many pvc bongs back in the day. the coolest was prolly the six shooter- it had six cylindrical chambers about 1.5 inches wide arranged in a circle with tubes connecting them. the smoke was filtered 6 times, and he even managed to get a nitrous valve on the front of the bastard. now tell me i dont need a gravity bong! late/
