I'm pretty sure Mic1/Mic2 are inputs, not outputs.
It only seems like there are two 'main' outputs, and both are RCA.
As far as getting unwanted noise with the RCA connectors, have you tried hooking your monitors to another source to see if it still produces the same noise?
Testing like this will allow you to isolate the problem- either it's your speakers or your mixer or possibly both (ground loop?).

I am using a ground loop isolator right now and it has fixed the problem.
But I was looking to upgrade to a better mixer soon anyways...so I was trying to find a new mixer that has the TRS inputs. Guitar center told me that if my current mixer had TRS inputs, then I would NOT need the ground loop isolator that I am having to use right now.

Those are inputs on the DJM-400 not outputs, youll need to goto the DJM-800, which has balanced XLR outputs.

would i be ok if i stepped down to the djm-600? I cant seem to get a picture of the back of a 600 to see what all is on the back. And on the spec sheet it shows only ONE XLR output which seems wierd. But i think I might see balanced XLR outputs....cant be for sure.
