i'm pretty sure it came with a manual and told you how to setup things..

actually i got the one on the shelf bekus it was the last one they had. And guitar center is tellin me it just comes with a cd not an instruction manual

I think you have to look in the settings under controllers and look and see if your model is there, or you might have to assign the knobs yourself.
I don’t have one myself, but I know you can do it in all music software its just knowing how to set it up in the software.
It should be under prefs midi controller.
