Pioneer CDJ 200 / 800 MK II / 1000 MK III - turn the bpm counters off ?

Can you remove the BPM counters from any of these CD decks or are you forced to the treat the deck with a sticker? Cheers.

I find the bpm counters on them pretty accurate

Tape and a piece of paper should do the trick.

I only end up looking at it if I cant remember what the bpm of the track is. Sadly i have remembered now how much percent +/- i need to get the normal bpms like 140, 138,139 etc to others.

Use a square piece of black electrical tape... it is easy to remove, blocks out all the light and looks natural / not tacky

So in theory you can just remember how much to pitch up or down your tempo to get to a certain bpm lol... no wonder why so many kids are getting good at this, give them two tt's and a mixer without bpm counters and they would be lost in trainwreck land
