Hello i recently tried to open a track i was working on and it does not open anymore. It just hangs the system to point just says Not Responding

I am using logic 5.5 for PC winxp.

I know Logic Makes a Back up file, but i tried that one and it still doesnt open either one of them. I tried defragging my drive restarting a million times and still nothing. If there is any other way known to recover lost tracks that have been either corrupt or damaged. Please let me know. This track was one of my best tunes ever and i want to finish it. But i cannot access it..

Is there an error message? What does it say?

no. No error message at all. usually it would say this song is damaged or whatever. But now it just loads and loads and loads and nothing.. I cant even see the Arrange. I just see gray. And nothing happens. I tried leaving it alone for a while and still nothing> i thought maybe there is so much in it that it needs time. Iam really wondering whats going on. Has this ever happened to you?

What do you think I can do to fix it. Or is there any way at all to just retrieve any information about it.

Sounds like a problem with logic, not the file. Try re-installing logic and see how that goes.
