Koh Phi Phi...

Right I need some travel tips to Phi Phi Island.

Those who dont know where this is..u shouldnt have clicked in the first place.

Anyways for those who HAVE been there recently..hows the setup over there since the tsunami? Going on a trip with my gf around mid november to thailand and was thiking of heading to THE beach in South east asia.

Which resort did u stay in and which beach is nearest to maya beach?

I've obviously done some research on the net but just hoping some of u may give me some experience on whichever resort u stayed in..Thanks

I was there over the summer but was on Koh Samui Island. Apparently Pi Pi island is very overated and not as enjoyable as you think it would be. Check out Koh Samui if your interested. Get alot of international dj's over there weekely, especially at Mint Club. Try to time it with one of their full or half moon parties. I went to one of them this summer and it was amazing. All kind of music genres and lots cool people. I stayed at the Impiana Resort by the way.

I'm not going there for the partying btw..

and the full moon beach party(its at koh phangan btw)..been there..was fun..but I really just wanna spend a quiet few days with my lady friend and enjoy the surroundings.

Shes been stressed out at work and needs some time out so i thought phi phi would be the ideal place considering its not crowded and its not affected by the monsoon season.
