yep I've heard that he tore the place apart by trainwrecks
Here's a mini review from another board:
| quote: | | His mixing was absolutely atrocious. I have listened to some of his live sets from back in the mid nineties and he actually can transistion from track to track with being in the mix over a minute each time. He would transfer baselines real nice. He has skills, but on this night in Atlanta... He refused to use them. 3 times during the night he started to mix a track in (brought it in like 1/4 of the way), you could hear the high hats and then brought it back out and mixed it in later. I went with a group of 6 and we watched from the balcony all night and we were amazed at how terrible he mixed. I really believe he did not give it his all. He was very lackadazical in everything he did in the booth. He was giving hugs to people then rushing up and down the stairs then hurrying up to mix something in quick. His bass transfer was terrible. He slammed so many mixes over it was really bad. He also turned the volume up extra loud during some breakdowns and had the system peaking when the beats kicked back in. I dunno. I think it was the worst performance I have ever seen in atlanta by a dj on the circuit (in demand/top 50/whatever). I really really was disappointed. I invited some friends to check it out and then didn't really notice the mistakes (not edm fans) but i did and thought it was really a joke. |
Trey, have you heard his lastest EM? It's a joke, it's worst than me and you when we first started mixing
