i know its not very lengthy (capping out at 5:46) but i couldnt think of anymore melodys or ideas to chuck in there :/
ive tried my best to EQ and compress it, so there might be a little bit of clipping etc
but this is my first time creating something totally original
edit:
ive polished up the percussions, though the previous version was a bit muddy, i decided to clean up the kick, not that it makes lots of difference, but it was worth a go
dont really like the bass, too muddy and not enough tone to it. kick is nice. this sounds reeeally lofi for being 160kbps. dont really like the choppy synth that comes in. a lot of weird transitions going on during the breakdown, really confusing. the melody is kinda cool.
not much else to say. there are some good ideas here, just need a lot of polishing.
Seems like it would fit well in a hardhouse/hardtrance set
Yeah, a bit more polishing and tune up on the EQ's and this track would be mint!
Keep it up!

hmm..thanks dude, my style has always been a harder trance
the EQing stinks as im just rubbish at EQing
thanks for the review
edit : ive noticed the bassline sounds similar to alice deejay - better off alone :s
when my kicks clip, ill bring them down (or out altogether) and then turn everything else thats obscenely loud around that down too, then bring the kicks back up, which tends to stop clipping.
as for EQing, it sounds like youve went and put the high ends in just about everything up max.. which is where

this sounds reeeally lofi for being 160kbps
would come from. Turn off most of the high eq's, and cut the bass ranges of them instead.. it creates the same effect as upping the highs, without the problem of everything trying to be louder than everything else.
i'd like to hear this one finished off a bit more.. cleaned up, given a shave etc. could have some real nice potential.

thanks for the tip
um, so i should cut down the high end and not make the kick clip or something? because right now, i got my kick EQed and compressed but im a bit confused on how the spectrum of the kick would look like.
right now the entire track has a mix of mid ranges and low ends, how 'should' the track look like on the sound spectrum? as i dont really have a ear for EQ, i prefer to look at the song rather than hearing it, as im assuming u guys have superior sound equipment than i have. the track may sound different on ur system etc but will always look the same on the sound spectrum (if u get what i mean)
I'm gunna trawl TA for the best tips, and put them together on that website, so keep checking it.
Steve
ah, thats more like it
more tips like that please should i apply that algorithm to what? kick? leads? im retard when it comes to EQing dont know what goes where or how things should sound etc
