I have this sample that sounds like it was used in "Three Drives - Greece 2000" but I don't know which one came first. It sounds 80s though so it probably was first.
Anyone ever heard of it?

I didn't hear the clip but by your description I'm 100% sure it's:

Cruisin' Gang - Chinatown [1984]

Also yes Greece 2000 was sampled from this track.

Unfortunately this isn't it. At least not the version of Cruisin' Gang - Chinatown that I know of. Unless there's some other mix. If you can take the time to listen to it, there's the distinct piano-synth part of Greece 2000 in the sample but nowhere in Chinatown.
Do I have a wrong Chinatown?

I am really sorry about the link. I made a mistake and uploaded the wrong track. There was another one call unknown instrumental and I mixed them up.

But piecing this puzzle together it does sound like the main melody was sampled from this unknown song and the beat/rhythm from the Chinatown track. Consider this a bump.

How's that for size?
To prepare you, it's not a trance track but it sounds like they got the melody for Greece 2000 as the topic says.
