Try to sort them by BPM or style. That will be easiest, or just alphabethically. Like others have said, whatever works for you. If you have a lot of two different styles, bring two cases, one with one style, and the other with another. I have one case of epic trance, and the other of progressive house and trance. Or just one small case, and play around before hand, put them in order of how you practiced before hand, and then mix it up with some stuff you can improvise with, but know will work. So it's kind of pre-programming, but also giving you room to experiment and read the crowd. Just makes it easier to have some idea what direction your set is going intially, like I said, it will change up based on the venue, the crowd, whatever it is.

I am still learning the concepts of harmonic mixing, but when i feel ready enough to play my sets entirely based on harmonic mixing, arranging the cds by key would definately be the way to go. Right now My cds are arranged in quite a haphazard manner, which sometimes screws me over when im looking for a certain track in crunch time and i lose precious beatmatching time flipping through my cd wallet.

I just use a simple text editor, maybe a word processor to make sure things are within a certain margin.
Most of the time, I just write it on the CD itself, but I'm thinking about printing CD contents on paper to slip them behind each slot in my CD binder (so I know where each one goes, or can check the bpm/key if the CD is being played).
