Wow, I really don't know what to say about the Rabbit in the Moon set from last night. Yes it was a liveset, and I have never really seen anything like it in my life. I didn't really know what to expect, but let's just say it was the most bizarre thing I will probably ever see on any stage in my lifetime. Parts of the show included the main guy in this crazy black and white stripped suit with 3 foor horns or spikes sticking out all over humping girls faces in the front row. The same guy later got in a bubble and and was rolling around the crowd. They also brought 4 or 5 guys dressed up in police swat gear on the stage, and then proceded to have 6 or 8 kids beat the shit out of them for the length of the song. Those are just a few of the things, I could sit here all day typing about the crazy shit they did. All in all, It was actually kind of enjoyable, but it probably would have been better if I was rolling or something.
The highlight of the night for me and most people I'm guessing, was DJ Dan on the mainstage. I'm not the biggest fan of house music, and I like most people was shocked with his now #5 in the world ranking, but after seeing him for the first time last night, let me assure you, DJ Dan = the win. His set along with the crowd and the graphics/lights on the mainstage was the closest thing to some of the massives in Europe as Dallas probably will ever get.
Never made it over to seven, but the Lizard Lounge was insanely packed inside and hitting all night long. The only person I really stayed inside to listen to was DJ Ragman, who tore it up as usual.
I hadn't been to meltdown in several years, so I was expecting it to have fallen off, but it definitely had not.
