I've never gone out of my way to stay in shape, but I think it's about time I did. This body isn't going to stay like this much longer without putting in some work, and well...quite frankly, I still want to have a sexy ass when I'm past 30.


It's nothing major...I don't really need to do a lot for the results I want, but it feels good to know I'm doing something healthy for myself!


I'm trying to quit smoking too, so this will give me something else to do.

I'm almost there actually. I only smoke 2-3 cigs a day, max. I'll be done by the time my birthday comes, which is in November.

My only fear is that I'll turn into an appearance obsessed work-out freak like so many others.


When I did landscaping, I noticed how much more defined and muscular I became...and understood why people could become obsessed with working on their bodies. It was pretty crazy to see myself with this super-tight, toned little body...almost surreal.



So yeah, I don't want that to happen!

you said it, do it for health reasons and for the fact that you 'care' about your body rather than the superficial crap.

work on your cardio then rather than anything involving weights. Take up something like yoga to keep your ass in shape and make sure it only happens 4 days a week max, keep it as a weekday thing if you can and party your weekends away to stop yourself from waking up on a saturday morning & going to pump some iron

i'm so glad i quit smoking. seriously, u should too. it's going to make u age like 10 times faster.


i think my mom is paying for my gym membership as my bday present next week, so i'll be back in my little meathead mode soon enough and i can't wait!

i'm gonna do a food journal and everything.

I started working out too, but after 2 weeks I just got too busy with school and work and now I don't have time to go to the gym. It felt good working out for those 2 weeks though, and I really wanna get back to it (especially since I"m paying for it)
