Review: The Royal Rumble (otherwise known as guvernment halloween)
I once again underestimated how nuts guvernment gets for halloween, this year even without steve lawler playing.
Lineups were insane, we were very lucky ourselves picking the right one. I thought on a few different times that the crowd could get hostile particularly right at the entrance to the drink.
Once in though while there was a fair bit of madness we managed to find a spot in the drink to catch manzone and strong, who played very well, and then loco dice.
I had never seen loco dice at length before, but i am very impressed. Good chuggy tunes non stop throughout the night, rarely got boring, always changing, funky stuff.
As I already mentioned in the other thread the slutted up outfits were out in full force last night.
Made for an interesting crowd to say tht least.
As long as you know how to, you can have fun at guv on these super crowded nights, too bad so many people can't, we had a blast.

I was completely surprised given so many other good parties they were to choose from that Guvernment was sooooo packed. The lineups felt crazier for LoL in my opinion but that's probably because I've never seen so much disorganization EVER at th guv. I gave up on the mass that was the drink entrance and went through gallery which was only a few minutes wait.
That being said, once inside I had a great time. THe music honestly on resident's night inside the guv is bang on. Gallery took the show pretty much as always though! Even though it was completely packed I didn't get pushed or stepped on once compared to about 10 times at Lot a few days before. I loved the crazy costumes and the crowd is always there to have a great time, unlike many other places. To me this night just shows why guv even without a big headliner is still my fave club in t.o.

and yea guv was a fucking disaster to get into last night! got there around 11:45 and the place was a ZOO! had to pay 20 to grease the bouncers to get in and then another 20 on top of that just to get upstairs to the drink fack! boooooo ...
once inside it was good times though! sick beats all night long upstairs! loco wasn't really too minimal, more like banging relentless techier stuff! but yea he was rocking out some awesome shit!
