Since I've been pretty skeptical about most of the gear that's appeared, I thought maybe we'd all like to talk about what we would have LIKED to see at NAMM. Hopefully this thread will stay realistic. A version of the OMG-1 bundled with a virus for $500 isn't really what we want to hear about.
For me, I'd like to have seen reissues by Roland of the 303, 808, 909, and a new analogue Jupiter. All priced reasonably. Like $500-700 each preferably for the xOx series, and maybe 1200 for the Juno. Even if it was only a 6 voice one, I'd still be a happy man.
I'd also have liked to see virus release a version of their atomiser from the TI, preferably turned into a full on looper and EFX, but also including all those tasty glitchy effects. Preferably priced around $600-800. Something to show Elektron what the Octatrack SHOULD have looked like.
Well, I have a little different perspective on this NAMM. I actually was pessimistic going into it because there just didn't seem to be that many juicy rumors going around. I also figured that it might be one giant iPad app dorkfest. So, I've been pleasantly surprised.
That said, as much as I like the new DSI drum machine, I was really hoping for an updated (i.e., 2nd generation), knobby desktop version of the Poly Evolver. Not that I'm really in the market for a new synth.
I would have liked to see a Nord Lead 4 or Wave 2 as well.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Affordable control surface with at least 16 x 100mm and a transport.
Nothing too fucking fancy, just nice faders, midi out or via usb, and stable using something like the hui format. Don't need automap or resistance capacitance faders or built in soundcards.
Why the fuck does no one do this?
Also, would like someone (korg) to bring out new Electribe style drum sampler/sequencer. Would like it to just be a midi interface to control samples within a program like battery. Drag an drop samples (unlike having to load them on a compact flash card) on to the pads and plax away on the 16 step sequencer.
Why the fuck can't Korg just do this? anyone know any designers I berate for not bringing this out?
