whats the best product to use to remove dust from records. are those static bar good? what about the wipes with the liquid?

i just bought a static off brush, and it works great..made out of carbon fibres..makes the records antistatic.. heh, thats what the box says
I've spit on a record before.. fucking some big "kkkkkKkkk" noise.. got rid of it

yea i use water, i wet a soft paper towel and i wipe off the vinyl, or if its super dirty, just run it under the water and dry it off with something soft, it works just fine

thanks for the tips. I never thought water would be suitable, coz i for some reason had it into my head that it would damage it somehow.

Discwasher makes a nice cleaning pad that comes with cleaning fluid. Not sure what the "fluid" contains, but the pad is nice.
i agree, run it under water... use a paper towel...

Put a bit of dishwashing liquid inot the water as well, to help get rid of those greasy fingerprint stains. But don't put too much in though, and rinse the record afterwards.
Mkae sure you dry it off thouroughly though, and as soon as possible. If you leave it on there for too long, it won't affect the vinyl itself, but you'll find that the label starts peeling off.
