I've always loved Audio Bullys, but I never bothered looking up what song they sample in Face In A Cloud. He's singing "Face in a cloud" in it, but I can't find anything other than the Audio Bullys song.
It's probably a bit old and stuff.
I know, I probably suck for not knowing this, cause I've heard it so many times, and it's probably like... a megaclassic by now.

The sample is from a late 60s rock song "Joe Cocker - Marjorine". I recognized his voice right away.. luckily enough i actually had the original on Cocker's Best Of compilation so i managed to make sure it's the same track.

REALLY?! FUCK! When I searched a bit before posting this thread, I was linked to a Joe Cocker info source, and I thought "Hmmm, since he's singing Face In A Cloud, I'll search for that" but he hadn't made any song with that title, and I couldn't be arsed to check out all of his songs.

Been doing some work related stuff more or less all day and night hence the busyness hahaha. So lame i know but it's just one of the less fun sides of not having a 9 to 5 day job.. I end up working at random hours.
Anyway at least to me it sounds like Cocker is singing "face in a crowd" in the original song, not "cloud".

Right, school's kicked off for me again, so I'll be abit more busy myself... sucks. I love my class though, so I'm happy.
