Imho, the vocals spoil it. I think the song's better from an instrumental perspective.

I've never heard the vocal version (didnt know one existed) but I'm 100% sure vocals would ruin the beauty of the original non vocal version

Hmm, strange enough the vocal tunes that I consider to be my favorite are tunes in which the vocalist doesn't even really sing lyrics, but just 'makes sound'. I mean tunes like PvD feat. Hemstock & Jennings - Nothing but You and ofcourse Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Ronski Speed mix).
