Fucking Scary man!!
This needs be seen, even by GOP or LIBS, damn focking wake up call, for some, |
I know, have others here not seen this yet or something? I already knew about how flawed and 'rig-prone' electronic voting was way before the docu was aired, thanks to ogvh5150 for posting info on voting machines quite a while ago (which some people dimissed as "conspiracy theory" back then ).

I watched that whole thing and actually had many of my fears somewhat alleviated. I was more afraid of hidden conspiracies in which votes could be changed or rigged by people other than those handling the equipment at the time of the election or even by programs hidden within the code itself. My other fear was the complete elimination of a true paper trail by the widespread use of touchscreen machines.
However the video provided no real evidence for either of those fears but rather showed that the electronic way of voting is not as secure as everyone said it was. The tampering of votes by the people in charge of the voting process and in physical possesion of the voting equipment and ballots is going to be a risk and concern no matter what type of voting procedures and methods you use. The video also impled that optical scanners of paper ballots were still in widespread use.
