Hey! I really like this. Nice kick. I love the driving feel, this is the kind of trance i like most. Nice melody. Great synth sounds that give a nice energy to the track. Overall just really nice work. Can't wait to hear the finished version. If you get a chance please check out my latest one (Enigmatic Ecstasy-A Story Untold. I would really like to hear what you think about it.

Hello!

Well this track starts realy pumping, loving the percs and beat.
the bassline is good, i would have added maybe a bit more effects on it maybe. That melodic synth coming in is realy good, fits nicely the whole track idea. The main melody is good, maybe i would have use more "Thickness" on that synth tho. In terms of mastering, i cant judge right now, as im on a bit crapy headphones, but i think the bassline needs a bit of work.

Overall i enjoyed this track. your on a good way.

Keep it up,

Alex

hey Kane,

some things i noticed: low end is pretty muddy, probably due to the bassliness release and tone as well as the overall compression. Melody coming in sounds a bit thin compared to the rest of the mix, and im not sure if the melodic theme is going anywhere but before you finnish consider working on the basline and overall mixdown.

Nice dark atmosphere in this! A bit empty but I think that fits good. Like the driving kick too! Keep up!

Nice Tune but you've clipped it to hell, espcially the bass, drop *everything* down 5-6Db, more even

The bass is a lil muddy, roll off some of the bass of the leads <150Hz, a little more on the ones with reverb (<250hz), worth running filters on the reverb infact

Nice choon tho lookin forward to the final version!

eagerly awaiting ..
stupid pop-ups usendit has these days huh

nice kick, nice groove from the start! keeps interest!
got my foot tapping already hehe, I like the bubbling rythm
the high hat doesn't fit in my ears, I think it should be lowered and more high pitched with a longer release..
bass arp doesn't seem to fit also from the start, but when the little leadsynth comes in around 1:10 it suits better ..
nice fx you got going!

you know due to that arpbass it start to remind me of early 2000 trance music...

nice percussion in the break !!!

hmm.. the high lead doesn't really do it for me when the kick comes back in.. my foot stopped tapping haha

but I can hear this has potential! keep it up

hey barry.

i like the techno theme to the percs and kick. very good drive.

lots of clipping im registering - could be one of your percs (clap) giving the impression tho...

bass sound is not warm enough. adjust waveforms to see if another sounds more deep..

synths let the track down imo. there doesnt seam to be enough variation during the time where the synths come in and the break.

break - i like your sounds. very cool.

kick comes back - im getting clipping.

i think your break gives you lots of scope for an amazing track. the 10 seconds of break really caught me. but the way the kick comes in really doesnt build the track. i think you need to restructure the track. get a different arrangement. shorten build and lengthen the break.

maybe copy the arrangement of a cool and proven track like something like 'out of the blue'.

overall lots of potential and you have to finish it

thanks for the feedback. ive only worked on it for a day so there hasnt been any mixing done on it. some good points which i will difinately take on board.

good to see its worth finishing. i was actually going to create a whole new melody in a second breakdown the first one was jsut to carry the track. but i will try some ideas.

will update asap!

thanks

Made alot of changes to the melody and the structure. i've tried something different with the arrangement so id like your opinions on it if possible.

it might still be clipping in places as im using headphones and cant hear the low end properly. all faults will be rectified though once i get a chance to do a proper mixdown on it.

thanks
