Respect for the headliners

When i open up for headliners I will be playing progressive. But this is not my sound of music, this is my respect for the headliner. So my question is when you start headlining gigs do you go back to your sound of music even though everyone knows you by playing progressive. By no means i am not turning any gig down just asking how the totum pole works.

I think somewhere along the line you end up playing somwhere in the middle. I think my tastes have changed a lot since I started playing Prog.

And that's exactly what happens. You start appreciating different sounds.

Take your own advice, there are sounds out there other than that of your sphincter tearing

I dunno, I play whatever... but I try to atleast steer clear of tunes I think the headliner will play. Normally sticking to very exclusive stuff or things out of the headliners ordinary style.

I just can't play tunes I don't like, and a lot of 'warm up' music is fucking boring lol
