hahaha, that was awesome. It's 'beta parking software' lol!! Seriously, a great step in a very cool direction, but we're obviously not there yet. The commentary along the way is hilarious, especially when the guidance gets arbitrarily cancelled when they are half way through!

also the guidance got cancelled whenever they tried to push on the gas cuz the car was stopping for no reason...so if they touched any controls while its on...it cancells

i'm pretty sure why it didn't work for these guys was because it only works for parallel parking lol

mercedes developed this system on the current generation S-Classes and CL's, the E Class on the other hand uuses a system where the driver has an on screen image, and on screen directions, the driver just has to simply follow on screen directions and pilot the steering wheel accordingly. fack...works better than drive by wire where they ran three S-Classes into one another
