Re: Previews on Beatport

I'm just wondering what people think about listening to the previews on Beatport. They are bad quality, but it seems like the newer releases tend to have better sound quality vs. the older releases. I have downloaded my share of tracks off of Beatport and about 90% are of good, playable quality, while I have downloaded a few that are pretty poor, with too low of sound quality and volume. I've tried adjusted the tracks, but they still sound bad. It is usually older tracks, probably vinyl rips since the tracks weren't released digitally but were probably rips sent to Beatport by the labels. I am just wondering if you think a poorer sounding quality preview of a track is a good indicator that the track will be poor quality/low volume when you buy it? |
Yeah, I look for the tracks that have that punch to them. I was going thru the same thing you were. The samples are a good indicator of what quality the track is going to be.
