Logic Users

For all of the Logic users out there.......

What is the correct way to set up hardware in Logic? I have a Nord Lead 3, but am unsure of how to set it up in logic. I know I have to do something in the environment, but not sure exactly what to do. Please if anyone knows, help me out. Thanks

You have to add a multi-instrument in the environment and set it to the right midi output. Then just add such a track in the arrangement window.

I would use a USB Midi interface device and connect it to your computer and your Nord Lead 3 and use the Midi I/O interfaces in Logic. Just make sure that you don't let the "Program" checkbox mess you up in Logic.
