I have ordered Mine , i was wondering what is like and any info or any sites with more details on, whats is your top k/s d/l speed , please get back to us.

Had it since November. It sure beats 56k dial up.
DLs tend to be limited by whatever is sending the files -- so an average transfer rate is about 60 kb/sec. Some sites chuck it out a lot faster though.
It's very rapid but not what you'd call "instant". You will notice and enjoy the difference. Especially if you're into multiplayer games.

I've had DSL for nearly a year now u get a steady 60kb/sec download and a steady 30kb/sec upload... it connects in a split second and seems to be very reliable! They have also dropped the monthly payments from 40 to 30 quid a month which is a bonus!
I'm waiting for the 1mb broadband to become available at a good price for private use... hopefully it will be very soon

Just to barge in with some information not requested, ive had ntl cable for nearly a year and its £25 a month and i get maxed out normally on 70KB/sec but sometimes its 100's and upload is 15KB/sec always, poo but its fine tho, no trouble

I think cable usually has a lower ping for games too which would be nice. But that upload speed is important -- funnily enough I've never checked it but I U/L a lot of stuff in projects back-and-forth and I can get 5 MB up in about 2-3 minutes. I don't know what that works out at.
I like the sound of that 1 MB broadband though. That sounds rather nice.

i oredered this, was well excited, got the bt man round to install it, and the ****** goes "err sorry but ur out of range." so i go, "thats crap my mate down the road has it"
Turns out im 200m out of range and there refuse to let me hav it. So i am stuck with 56k for now
