Hey guys i usually make my melodies before i put the rest of the track together,

just want your thoughts on 2 melodies before i go into further with the track,any thing im doing wrong something you like? something i should do more of etc?

Well, I'll just shoot you straight...

I think your on the right track, but try condensing the melody lines to simpler, smaller phrases. You keep jumping in and out of what I would see as different musical thoughts. Basically you literally have 10 DIFFERENT melodies here as im hearing it. Try keeping things simpler at first.

Sounds very random to me. Not like a planned melody. I think it sounds very generic. The arp is very simple. I'd go back and make it more coherent and intentional.
