I don't think you can restore them...

As far as I know Ad-Aware ALWAYS asks for what files you want to delete, it doesn't just go deleting stuff by itself.

Oh well, it was all audio so, I just queued 500 MB of it up... The rest was mainly from Extracted CDs and whatever..... So, I can get those back...

If ad-aware did screw up your files, you could tell the people who wrote the program so they can stop this happening to other people. I use it all the time and never had any probs with deleting music

Ad-aware has a back-up, so you can restore deleted files, well unless you didnt use the back-up option

plus it might just be a case of needing to defrag...sometimes that fucks up your available space. unless you KNOW that shit is gone...then too bad/ i dont know how Ad Aware would have removed mp3s...only thing it did was screw up my kazaa...meaning i prolly have all the ads back/

sucks eh, i've had it happen before. Always backup yer shit like burn yer mp3 on cd's as data for backup if you have a small hd.

Oh GOD i had the same problem twice on christmas day my hard disk crashed
about 1300 mp3z just GONE.
I could cry. And that because I was copying from 2 partitions at the same time.

NEVER EVER COPY FROM 2 PARTITIONS AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your support everyone and to the person who lost 1300 MP3S, I'm glad that didn't happen to me! I need to go pick up some CD-RWs soon for backup purposes... ANYWAY, I found out about 5 hours ago when I done a full system virus scan with Norton Antivirus 2002, that I had 3 VIRUSES in my system! I do this at least once a week so, they had to get into my system during this week! It's a bitch when you've just got finished DL'ing 300 MB only to find that the next day, that it's ALL GONE AND THEN SOME! Well, I guess I'll just have to use System Restore more often until I get Norton SystemWorks Corp...

I DO need to defrag soon (haven't defragged since January!) but, I'm going to use EVIDENCE ELIMINATOR (http://www.evidence-eliminator.com/) first so, I don't end up defragging stuff that I'm going to delete and be forced to defrag again. Who has EE and how do you like it? Please let me know. I've had positive results since 2001/10/05 when I got it!
