I saw in this clip on TV "CJ something"
and its not the 1st time i see this

can anyone tell me what does CJ mean and what does a CJ do?

a CJ probably does nothing. i know two CJ's: CJ Bolland and CJ Stone

of course, it could stand for Computer Jockey. personally i think all dj's should be called VJ's for vinyl jockeys or RJ's for record jockeys. shutting up now.

LOL... makes sense though, disk jockey.. they dont spin disks unless you take a VERY literal translation (record is round, disk is round, therefore record is disk) or even more literal: computer disk. (hahaha ) I think DJ just sounds good. Consider this, VJ Tiesto, RJ Tiesto. Just doesnt flow off your tongue as easily.

well disc is exactly what a record is...it has nothing to do with taking it "literally". Back in the days when the term "dj" was first invented records were not called vinyl or records, they were disks. And therefore, the Disk Jockey
