Why is some epic trance recorded at 135 BPM?

Epic trance sounds so crappy at this slow speed!
the two best example are Romanthony - Never Fuck (PVD Remix) and AVB's Perpetous Dreamer - Dust.WAY (Rising Star Mix) both recorded at 135.

you have increase the pitch by 6% till it sounds good. progressive trance should be recorded at 135 or less. all epic trance should be at least 140.

technics only go up to 8% stupid that means if i was spinning at 145 or more i'd be out of luck and thats the kind of song you'd want to spin late in a set anyway. 135 bpm is for pussies.

i have no problem with it being recorded at 135bpm. generally, i like to listen to mixes around 139-143bpm anyway. i don't like it too fast anymore with exceptions to the odd ones like energy 2000.

coming from a hardcore background I like a lot of pace in my trance, I can do it upto 160bpm but as a rule I use 145 as my tempo, its amazing how much better some tunes can sound when faster, try Ferry's Punk @ 145, its amazing plus Svenson & gielen twisted @ 150 sounds mental

ahm. I have to say. I think trance beyond 139 bpm sounds a bit slow, although i cant hear which is 138 and which is 140. But i think slower than 135 it should be more progressiv or another style
