Infusing current sound of trance with the classics

Hey.
I find that not enuf producers/ remix artists are remixing tracks from the past. Who agrees with me here.
Wouldnt it be cool to hear a remix of Lange - "Drifting Away" by a current pioneer in the trance industry like Hawk. I find that with a classic being remixed it brings a sort of reminiscent feeling to the song that makes it quite exquizite. I'm not saying that Lange - Driftin Away (Hawk Remix) is the best example but it kind of gives you the idea.
However Most voacl trance from 2000, 2001 that became popular have somewhat became extinct. I think that by bringing them back by infusing them with the current sounds of trance like Probspot, Leama and Moor, and a few others like Hawk (I could name more just not off the top of my head). I think that the elements combined from the past and the present could make for a quite beautiful future in trance, I'm ready fo it!

example would be like Opus III - Fine Day (Leon Boiler Remix) or the the Dallas Superstars remix of "Fine DAy"
more tracks like this would be good for the industry in my opinion. It might even prove to be somewhat of a revival, not that trance is currently in need of revival.

I'm just suggesting. Opinions?

i've been into the genre for a while, and while i'm not agreeing or disagreeing with your track suggestions, i will say that there are a number of older tracks that i plan on reconditioning once i have reason up and i'm fluid with it.

so yes, i do agree that remaking/producing old tracks (some should stay in the past though) is not a bad thing at all.

oh, btw, i'm new here, hello

yes your arguments are weak. because it's a fact that the majority of the re-releases of tracks are made by labels not to breath in some fresch air into the old track but just to have it remixed by some half famous lamers which often pay NO tribute to the original and the results come out weak as hell. There are hundreds of releases with new remixes not even worth the name.

It would be really really sweet if someone would remix Cafe Del Mar one day.

Clearly you're not listening to enough trance if you think there are not enough remakes. They are everywhere.

Now that's just silly.

Tiestin van Mini-Van would be the better choice for that mash-up.
