Yamaha & Alesis Usb/Firewire Mixers

These mixers look pretty good but are they worth it?
Yamaha are supposed to be know for quality mixers and Alesis seems to be ok. Has anyone used these or heard much about them?
The models I am looking at are the
-MW10 (USB Yamaha)
-Multimix8 (Usb or Firewire Alesis)
