Best EQF (Equalizer Preset) for Trance Music?

Hello...i have been searching for an appropiate equalizer preset for winamp (or Apollo) for trance tunes, but i didn't find anyone and i don't know how the equalizer should be for trance music...if anyone knows where i can find a good eqf file for trance music or how can i configure the equalizer to have the best sound, i will be very pleased!. Sorry for my poor english...and many thanks in advance for your help!.

I do the opposite... u know it all depends on the speakers you have.
some are better than others.

I boost the mids and a little bit of the low if needed to... let the highs as they are.

Exactly. Both the speakers and the amplifier create a curve of their own, so the important thing is eq in relation to how your system sounds.

I keep the sound flat on the source and boost highs and lows on the amplifier because it makes the sound warmer on my system.

Precisely, I leave EQ settings well alone. Well, apart from my subwoofer, which is set to -4dB to stop me dying at high volumes.

I put it on Club Setting, seems to work the best. There's a techno setting, but it's too bass and treble heavy. I like something a bit more balanced. It's very much like DJ Charlie's EQ preset.

I keep the bass on normal, don't do anything to the mids and make sure the highs stay unchanged...
