The guitar is actually a wood grain strat with a humbucker in the bridge. I would say its recent (last three years or so). Probably an american series, go to the fender website and look under the american series or american delux you'll find it pretty quick.
I also see a little line 6 pod (desktop version) sitting under a computer. nice studio, he must use a lotta soft synths coz I dont see much hardware there, lotsa screens though

He does have quite a few hardware synths, if I remember correctly, but I read that he's also a big Reaktor user.

In an interview I read a lot is done sample based. If he has friends/fellow artists coming over he samples every sound a few times. For instance if it is a drummer he samples each drum quite a few times to have that different take/snap to it.
About the bx5's BT uses them, and also look behind the screen there is a massive dynaudio big room monitor too.

i have bx8's and i'm pretty happy with them, just figured with everything top top top of the line, why settle for $300 5" drivers? but i missed the dynaudio.

So is the Maudio 88 pro worth getting?
if junkie's got one, i want one too. Tried one out at guitar center. It has more nobs than a porn mag, but the keys feel a bit sticky.
cheers

Im sure he uses the m-audio monitors to give him a different sound, so he can hear what it would sound like on a some "crappier" monitors.
