The “Which is better 1210’s or 1200” is almost like an Urban Legend. There are loads of “friend of a friend” stories floating around about one being slightly better that the other.

As far as I know the only difference is that one is silver and the other is black!

The 1200 and the 1210 are almost identical. They are built in aeactly the same way, using exactly the same components. The differences are as follows.

1) The 1210 has a voltage selector on it. (110V/230V). The 1200 does not. This is true whether in Europe or America.

2) In Europe, the 1210 is black and the 1200 is silver. The 1210 does not come in silver, and the 1200 does not come in black.

3) In America, the 1200 comes in both black and silver. The 1210 is available in America, but is very rarely found.

Apart from this, they are identical in every way.

yeah i don't use the pitch reset button either...i think its pretty useless
but then again i guess its just there for IF you want to be at exactly 0, you can

although i am a huge fan of the pitch not locking on 0...i love it!
