Overview:

Well, it's Christmas season and many of us find ourselves spending countless hours traveling over the next few weeks. I figured we could all use an extra mix to help us along the way.

This set starts off with what is definitely my favorite track of the year, Spirit by Re:Locate ft Menno de Jong. If you have been following my sets over the past 2 months, you'll know I enjoy the edgier side of Trance, and this set certainly delivers those goods. Packed with Favorites right off the bat, Sandra Flyn's Rocking really gets the set going, just before the 30 minute mark; leading into what is the most original track of 2006: Plug & Play by our very own Takkra. Getting tired of hearing the SvD mix of Direct Dizko, I discovered the Tech Mix which breathes in much needed life into this floor killer. The last few songs of the set showcase a more tribal feel, but it certainly keeps up with the Tearing Trance theme. Virus by Raul Cremona has to be the most overlooked Tech Trancer of the year, you need to hear it to understand the amount of energy it generates!

Even though I'm not into trance that much anymore Im gonna give this a listen because I think you deserve a review for all the time you've been putting into giving other people good honest and lengthy reviews, keep up the good work!

Nice mix! It definatly has a lot of energy. I am a fan of the last, more tribal, part of this mix. It puts a nice twist on the mix. I agree that the tech mix is quite bangin. Overall nice set.

Enjoyed this mate! Flow and tune selection was very good. Beatmatching was pretty good few little slips but corrected very quickly, only thing that needs a bit of work is the eqing as a few of the mixes sounded a little clashy!!

Thanks to everyone who's had a chance to take a listen. The mix does have a slightly rough edge to it, due to the live picking of tracks. Makes things interesting...LOL

i must say spirit is a pretty tight track, i think im gonna have to pick that one up
