Wow! what a night. so much fun! sucks i had to miss above and beyond but i was not disappointed in the least by lee and the night i had.
kris, ben and i got to vanguard pretty early. i managed to step right into a giant puddle on the way in so wet feet for the beginning of my night. but oh well. justin and john were warming up the main room nicely but i ended up going upstairs to check it out and get a drink and the dj jeffry allen was spinning a really great set and so i kinda stayed way longer than anticipated. had tons of fun up there and then realized it was 1 am and i had almost missed most of loco's set!
down stairs to dance to the rest of his set and say hi to lee. what a character he is! he's always joking and cutting up and just fun to watch. loco's set was great and i danced alot to what was left of it. then about 1:30 lee gets on and i thought he was harder and even better than last month. i loved it and his new track that he dropped was way sick! i had so much fun and it was great to see some of the TA's that were there as always: julia and her posse of girls,silvia and her husband, tigo and well, there were others i'm sure but now i'm forgetting. we commendered this booth right up front to the right side of the stage and all hung out there.
tigo and i had a fun little photo session, hilarious, i would love to see those pics, or then again, maybe not 
my friend from atlanta was there and it was so much fun hanging with her and her husband and friend. i'll be partying alot with them when i go back to atlanta for christmas.
then it was off to the after party. went to a loft downtown that was really cool and huge!!!! it was set up like a private lounge with a bar and drinks and everything. there was this really fat dog that kept wondering around the party looking at everyone like "get the fuck out so i can sleep" 
lots of new friends from the last after party with lee were there and many new ones made. michelle, kris and ben finally made it there as well as julia and matt. talked to lee for a bit before he went on to spin another amazing set. he was up there for like 6 hours, no joke! the man is a machine! and it was just one crazy track after another. we couldn't stop dancing as julia said. so much fun. the place was still jumping at 10 am, and then the track he dropped at 10:35 am like julia said was just sick, sick, sick! i had chills up and down my arms.
was nice to see kazell and chat with him, it had been since giant village that i have seen him. always a super nice guy and he kept giving me shit b/c i always seem to miss his sets. was also great to meet mike khoury, who opened up spundae. very nice guy and i look forward to catching his set the next time he's in LA. he and i were both like, haven't we met before and then it finally hit me that he was indeed the dj that opened up and that he is on the boards as well.
all in all a crazy night. i can't believe i was there until like 1 pm. but i couldn't help it, the music and company was just too great! tigo, what the hell happened to you man, you missed out! julia, you were a rock star i swear, you never stopped dancing!!! good times, good times!
