Yeah, a sample would be good. Kind of tough to help without that. I'll offer some comments when you post one.

well once u finish the track, mixdown should sort itself without the aid of the EQ, compression and EQ should come last.

the track without EQ/compression should fill the spectrum, the EQ and compression just evens out the spread...if that makes any sense.

my mixdown sucks because it clips but i kinda over compensate that with the EQ and bring it back up with the compressor

but i add some eq and compression before mixdown ,and it still does not fill up the spectrum(i guess i could try and add some afterwards during the mastering process) , hopefully you can respond more after you have listen and looked at the spectrum.

First, you have way too much sub-bass going on in both examples. You need to take that out. In "test2.mp3", if you want more high frequencies you will just need to add more sounds that take up the high frequencies, since you hardly have any percussion or other high-frequency instruments playing in the first place. In "1rhytmn.wav", the one main sound you have playing just isn't going to fill the spectrum by itself, but why would you want it to if you're going to have other sounds in a track playing along with it?

Also, relating back to what KilldaDJ said, compression and EQ aren't meant to fix a poor mix or to save a mix that isn't even close to filling the spectrum: they're for final touches. But I can't really tell whether you do full mixes poorly anyway, since neither of the files you posted contain all the elements that most full trance tracks have these days.

Use a low-cut button on your EQ, if it has one, or use a precise high pass filter.
