Do you guys really think its worth buying the hi-quality songs to burn to CDs to DJ with?

Like i Have alot of good songs but they aren't Hi-quality wavs.... high kbs or w/e

Can people really tell the difference?

And where are some good places to download? Is iTunes hi-quality?
I usually just go to Beatport.com

Where can I find the songs that aren't on these sites? For example, i wanna get Skin-Faithlessness (Tiesto Remix) but i can't find it anywhere

It probably isn't released then. I have the same problem. I was looking for Jose Gonzalez - Crosses (Tiesto Mix) and I can't find it anywhere. Its disappointing. You might want to try www.juno.co.uk They often have a lot of releases that beatport doesn't have.

Beatport is high quality, you can download WAVs there, and 320 kbps MP3s and 192 Kbps MP4s. ITunes is medium-quality, 128 kbps MP4s, which are close in quality to 192 Kbps MP3s. They are good for listening, but are probably not good enough for DJing. There is a new store called CDJShop.com, and they will have a lot of tracks on CDs that you might not be able to find other places.

The higher quality the better, the problem with lower quality formats is that the conversion process doesn't handle bass very well and that is probably the most important factor if you are playing in a club environment.

WAVs are the best option simply as the track has lost the least info during the process of creating it.

if you really really want that track, like i did, i suggest finding this cd somewhere. that's what i did. it's the only full length digital release of it afaik.
