first it was oakenfold. now its tiesto. and some could argue pvd. next its armin. honestly, i believe that all the worlds "best" djs will at some point follow this pattern.
this is why one has to listen to what he likes and not what everyone else is ranting and raving about. |
that pattern they follow is called more money, waaaay more money, and in our world it always wins. but Neil had some good points! either way once a marketing giant and you become friends the tables go from being a dj and producing music u like, to this isn't gonna last forever so why don't we all get as rich as possible while doing it and do what makes the most, i mean its not like tiesto is like my shit sucks but i make more than any other dj in the world, so im a sellout, no! hes like i don't give a fuck, I'm rich bitch ( a lil dave chappelle there)
truthfully it ain't a bad gig, hell i think many people say what they will now, if approached would sell out, the negative connotation of the word sell out does not supersede the literal form of SELL, in which makes these guys rich
anyhow its good for the scene, without the notorious trance all-stars making all the money, the shit we see now in dance music probably would not have become possible, amd now some house dj's can demand alot of money, Morillo being the most analogous, so rock on tijs! anyhow all exposure of dance music that people spend money on is a good thing, because once theres no money it goes right back to shitty raves and clubbing in a rattletrap with speakers on sticks.
and i def touched him @ his setai party during wmc, and i know that some of would love to have done that...lol
