I present to you my latest tune.

It is the result of a Cubase sx3 project started off called dnb... ie I was gonna make drum and base.. but it turned out as a fast and hard experimental kind of track, driven by a goa sounding melody. I have difficulty classifying it.

listening.....

- kick and bass don't go that well together, work on your eq. kick is overpowered by the bassline, it doesn't cut through.

- percussion is really basic and the levels are off too

- the overall mixdown it's preaty muddy

- melody is ok, but sounds more like an old videogame soundtrack

okeedokee.... seing as how i like 150+ bpm.... ill give this a shot....
seems kinda empty

the breakbeats at 2:26 are solid

i'd give the kick some more volume...

over-all... i'd drag it down to <155-ish
anyway... overall its really cool, but for ti to be at 165 the instruments have to sound good at 165 :P...

anyway... could you take the time to review my track?

dont intend to remix this song. i know its not pro sounding. for one i changed speakers to studio monitors and a 12" sub during the time i wrote it. now il start a new song with new gear
